Two of my dear friends celebrated their birthdays this week and they just happen to be twins. We decided to make a night of it Friday going to Nellcote for dinner and RM Champagne Salon for dessert and champagne. Double birthdays means double the celebration. Located next door to one another on Randolph/Green these spots provide the perfect element of indulgence and frills. Nellcote has a flour mill in the basement and makes all their own pastas and pizzas. RM Champagne is down an alley with twinkle lights that let's you imagine you've snuck away to Paris in minutes. These girls bring so much joy to my life in Chicago. I'm lucky to call them friends and was thrilled to celebrate with them.
