January 2015 kicked off the year with celebrations the whole month. Starting with an excellent NYE spent with Suberlak cousins at Kaiser Tiger. A local beer hall that specializes in the Bomb.
5lbs of pork, beef wrapped with pepper bacon and slow roasted. Served with rolls and delicious sides.
It was an spectacular evening of food and family.
My birthday followed New Years and Paul booked a spa weekend at the American Club, a 5 star resort in Kohler, Wisconsin.
It's a beautiful location just about 2.5hrs north of Chicago. We traveled with friends and toured the design center (getting lots of ideas for future renovations), sat fireside at night, enjoyed massages and their awesome Sunday brunch.
A perfect cozy January getaway.
Clever wall of porcelain at the design center.
I want this to be my future shower.
I celebrated 33yrs on my 33rd week of pregnancy this year. Which meant perfect timing for more parties.
Family and friends traveled near and far to shower Baby Subie with love. We were blessed to have a Chicago shower thrown by close girlfriends for our "little sailor" followed by one in Milwaukee hosted by Paul's Mom with family and Wisconsin friends.
My sister, mom and nieces made it from California to help us celebrate.
It was a good thing they traveled well cause 18inches of snow meant we had to pack it all and trek through winter for the party.
As the groundhog declares more winter in store for us today, I'm glad to say nothing keeps Subies from a party.
